Instruction and Training

We provide training to new miniRUEDI users. The training courses are intended for up to five persons. We provide training either as on-site or online courses.

On-site course: one-day course near Zurich / Switzerland

The users visit us for a one-day training in the lab. This training will allow users to use their miniRUEDI for their applications. Any questions and other points that may arise during these first applications are discussed in follow-up meetings or by email as needed.

Online course: video meetings and email exchange

  1. The users run a few first test runs with their instrument in an “easy” environment by following the user manual (for example in their lab or workshop). If any questions arise during this initial step, the users send an email with a list of their questions to us.
  2. We organize a first online meeting (Zoom) to cover the basics of the miniRUEDI hardware and software. We will also discuss specific questions. The miniRUEDI computer has a software package that will allow us to see and control the screen via an internet connection during the meeting.
  3. The users start applying their miniRUEDI in their work. Any questions and other points that will arise during these first applications are discussed in follow-up meetings or by email as needed.
